we didn't end up getting much snow last night, but the wind was just brutal. i couldn't stop thinking about my two favorite ways to stay warm! my new brownies-from-scratch recipe (don't worry, it's just as easy as using a boxed mix) is below these snuggly blankets. bake the brownies, grab a blanket, + hibernate!

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
preheat oven to 350o. mix together dry ingredients (you can even store them mixed for awhile, or put them in a nice jar w/ the rest of the ingredients + instructions listed as a gift!). add the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. stir in chocolate chips. pour into greased dish + bake for 20-25 minutes. see? just as easy as a boxed mix, but tastier, cheaper, and without the preservatives. now get cozy + enjoy a good book!
