remember that post where i wrote about hoping to avoid the cold that's going around? well, i didn't. the weekend was spent laid up on the couch. luckily, now that we have hulu plus, i blew through the first season of downton abbey, + am now officially obsessed. do you watch it? kristie calls it my "stories." seriously, i've never really been into soap operas, but watching downton abbey, i catch myself gasping, yelling at the tv, explaining the plot to kristie (who really couldn't care less)...generally feeling like a middle aged woman watching her soaps.
in addition to gorging myself on british intrigue, we made another trip out to our wedding venue + had a nice greasy brunch at a nearby diner. i also got out into the snow a bit. we haven't had much bad weather lately, but our backyard tends to hang on to the littlest amount of snow for awhile.
